After supporting several legal processes, I can confirm that they do always win, but we don’t necessarily always lose. People who lose are often placing pride or some other emotion before common sense.
In any argument, it is really important to understand your opponent’s point of view. Of course you won’t agree with it which is why you are having an argument. What we need is fair arbitration without any self-interest, impossible to achieve when you have two warring legal teams.
So my solution? Start the lawyer off on their maximum fee expectation and reduce it over time. I bet all cases would be solved faster, lawyers wouldn’t get their maximum fee and everyone would be happier! Case closed.
